Divorced in 2007 after a brief but damaging marriage of 4 years, I decided to reinvent myself.  I moved back from London, England, where I had been residing for almost 6 years to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I have family.  I am using my 17 years experience as a corporate administrator as the jumping-off point, entering a 3-year Master's degree program in Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University.  I intend to help create a new field or at least a niche within the industry: Sustainable Interior Designer.  One major hurdle recently achieved:  I passed the LEED exam in June 2009 and am officially a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional).
